About Jan Wilson

Jan Wilson is the principal managing broker at Garden Park Realty.  Jan is one of the most dedicated and purposeful real estate agents in the nation.  Jan earned a Bachelor´s degree (summa cum laude) in Business Administration from the Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Law Division of University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.  She is a member of the Pacific West Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Jan has worked in various facets of the real estate industry since the 1980s, participating in hundreds of real estate transactions.  Jan´s experience as a mortgage broker has also proven beneficial in successfully completing real estate transactions.  She has taken the course for Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, which is a designation offered by the California Association of Realtors to those who have become familiar with unique con­cerns faced by seniors in the real estate market; and has taken the indepth Certified Probate Course, taught by a 46-year veteran in the real estate probate sales market.  Jan's clients also benefit from her years with a Big-5 CPA firm, where she provided integrated financial and technology risk management and consulting services to scores of businesses with industry specialties as diverse as waste management companies to top-tier banking and financial institutions.

Jan´s in-depth training includes foundational real estate courses such as Real Estate Practice, Economics, Financing, Property Management, Legal Aspects, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Investments, Exchanges, Taxation, and Creative Financing.  In addition, Jan sets aside time each year to participate in continuing education courses to keep abreast of real estate and financial trends.

Jan has channeled her experience and education to provide various services to her community.  In 2004, Jan retired from the corporate world and established Garden Park, Inc.
